Longtime president Heesen plans exit from NVCA Mark Heesen, president of $7M-revenue National Venture Capital Association, has announced plans to retire from the organization once a successor is found. Heesen first joined NVCA more than 22 years ago as head of public policy. He became president in 1999, and from that position, grew the group's public policy agenda, research initiatives and member programs.
